I have always been drawn to the power of the mask.  The aesthetic of older and now obsolete industrial headgear often drew inspiration from tribal art and ancient armor. Placed out of context and juxtaposed amid everyday settings, these expressive masks acquire mysterious new meanings through the camera’s lens.
